I'm looking for a docking station that is compatible with both my work laptop (Elitebook 850 G7) AND my home laptop (HP Pavilion 13-an0031wm). The docking station I'm currently using for my work laptop, HSN-IX02, is not compatible with my home laptop. Does such a unicorn exist?

Finding a docking station that is compatible with the Elitebook 850 G7 is pretty straightforward.
The HP Thunderbolt 120W G2 is marketed as compatible and I am sure that there will, be generic docks that will also work with it.
Finding a dock that is compatible with your Enterprise class notebook and a mainstream tier Pavilion notebook is pretty unlikely.
A Pavilion notebook with an Intel Core i3 processor is not going to have USB 3.2 Gen 1 or Gen 2 Type-C Thunderbolt support compatibility in its chipset capabilities
HP does not even market a docking station that is listed as being compatible with you Pavilion notebook
I think you are looking for a unicorn.
