Product: HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-fd0000 (70R04AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Am i right that this PC will not link to a docking port despite both being HP products.  I bought this as an upgrade to my current pavilion as it had better processor but it won't connect to my docking port. Pavilion SE 15-fd0053na is the new computer.

you should better specify the issue, if you are trying to connect another monitor it will not work because this laptrop does not have a USB-C port compatible with DisplayPort.
