Elitebook 840 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Is there a docking station compatible with Elitebook 840 G5 that support QHD (2560x1440) resolution on three externally connected screens. The Ultraslim 2013 docking station only has VGA as third display connector which only supports HD resolution on third screen.

You have a Thunderbolt type USB-C port so it should be possible.

Service Manual

This is compatible:

https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Elite-Thunderbolt-Cable-1DT93AA/dp/B07MVNXK7R/ref=sr_1_8?gclid=Cj0KCQ...

It has two DP ports and then its own Thunderbolt port which carries a DP signal. You could actually probably daisy chain several more external monitors through that but certainly 2 DP driven monitors and then one more with a USB-C to DP cable.

That Ultraslim dock I believe clicks into the dock port and you could use it for 2 monitors and then a simple USB-C to DP cable to drive a third right off the laptop, if you are not using the Thunderbolt port for anything else..
