HP Pavilion Laptop 15Z-CW100 LAPTOP 6CR88AV
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi All,

I am looking for a dock/hub that will work with my laptop.  Dual monitors would be nice .  I have looked at

https://www.amazon.com/s?k=usb-c+docking+station&crid=3MBIL28Y4TASZ&sprefix=usb-c+dock%2Caps%2C185&r...

as suggested in other posts, but the manufacturer says it won't work with the Pavilion line.  Are the HP laptops not as versatile as HP claims?  Is there no solution??

TIA,

-mark

It is a CTO machine BUT most likely it has following ports

  • 1 HDMI;
  • 1 headphone/microphone combo;
  • 1 RJ-45;
  • 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Data transfer only);
  • 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate);
  • 1 AC smart pin

The USB-C port has MANY question marks. It works similar to USB-A ports except for its shape.

If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors, please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few options on market today including some HP products:

or try following HP docks
