The specs of your machine is

It has 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s, DP1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port which dos NOT support Power Delivery therefore you can NOT use this port to charge your machine with nor without dock.

What is your machine ? Manual for the series does not say much about its USB-C port. Please use the following way to find out the model/product of your machine
