Yes there is a slot for a 2.5 inch SATA HDD or SSD and there is no capacity limit. So a 240 gig 2.5 inch SATA SSD would work. However do not expect a lot of performance even with an SSD because of the severely limited processor power. Also, there is one RAM slot so by definition it is single channel. Uses highly dated and obsolete DDR2-667 SO-DIMM and 2 gb is the max memory that can be installed. Windows 10 is out of the question. There is a Netbook Ubuntu Linux that would work well or an even lighter Linux distro runs pretty well on these and it could be used for simple internet and word processing I guess.

Disassembly is not very difficult and here is the Manual:

Which interface supported ? Is it SATA III  2.5 inch/7mm interface work on this model or not ?

HP Recommended

Its at best a SATA II interface but a current model SATA III 7mm SSD will work just will operate at SATA II speed. Still an improvement over machanical HDD.
