The memory is removable/upgradable.

 

Your notebook should have two memory slots and supports 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-3200 MHz memory.

 

HP only has the service manual for the original 14s-dq0xxx model series available, but it may be of help for opening up the notebook to upgrade the memory.
