Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I am planning to buy an SSD drive. I want to make sure that it would be compatible with my laptop. Does HP 15-da1015ne support an M.2 NVMe SSD?

Thanks in advance,

You're very welcome.

The service manual covers the entire 15-daxxx model series.

Looking at chapter 1, models such as yours with the Intel core processors have M.2 slots that support SATA and NVMe SSD's.

Most folks would choose a NVMe SSD because they have faster read/write speeds than SATA drives do.

You can also refer to the crucial memory/SSD report for your exact model notebook which shows the various M.2 SSD's supported.

Thank you for the quick reply. However, in page 1, they mentioned a bunch of model numbers and the da1015ne is not one of them. A screenshot can be found here: http://prntscr.com/u5nenz

Alright thank you. I would also like to confirm for anyone who might check this later that an NVMe ssd indeed works. I bought one and i just tried it and it is working perfectly.
