I want to upgrade my

HP ENVY x360 - 15-w002nx  laptop. I want to know is there any port available in my laptop other than hdd. Like mSATA or  M.2 to add ssd to my laptop to increase boot time?

Yeah here's the Manual:

Manual

Remove top cover and you see this inside:

HDD = green M.2 SATA = redHDD = green M.2 SATA = red

Open it to be sure the slot circled in red is present. The drive will not be there but you should have a slot and a screw. You can add a SATA-3 2280 form factor M.2 like the Samsung 860 Evo. Cyber Monday deals abound this year:

If the slot is not there you can replace the hard drive with a 2.5 inch form factor SATA SSD. Performance of the 2.5 inch and M.2 SATA disks will be about the same. The beauty of the M.2 is you get to keep the existing HDD 1 TB for storage so can buy a less expensive smaller capacity but get at least a 250 gig size.

Post back with any other questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.

Dear Sir,

I checked it. On Motherboard it is mentioned SSD1 interface but there is no female connector socket. Can we install the fe male connector socket in service center?
