HP Notebook - 14-cf0006dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Notebook - 14-cf0006dx. The SSD that comes pre-installed on the laptop is a Samsung 128GB SATA M.2 2280 SSD (B+M key).

Can this laptop accept an NVMe PCIe m.2 2280 SSD (M-key version), or will it only accept a SATA m.2 2280 SSD? (Is there a quick way for me to tell if it's supported other than asking the community?)

Thank you.

Yes the slot will accept a 2280 form factor PCIe/NVME M.2 SSD.

Service Manual

See p. 41. The M.2 slot is directly above the battery.
