HP 15-bs164tu LAPTOP
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have HP Notebook - 15-bs164tu.

Does it support m.2 SSD slot ? So that I could use both 1TB HDD & 250 GB m.2 SSD on my LAPTOP.

Probably. Here is the Service Manual:

Manual

M.2 2280 SATA SSD can be installed either in a caddy that replaces the 2.5 inch hard drive OR in a dedicated separate M.2 slot.

Start on p. 43 for rear cover removal. Open it and see this inside:

So IF the slot is present on your laptop you can add in a 2280 SATA M.2 like the Samsung 860 Evo:

This would be used in addition to the hard drive as you request. You CANNOT install the faster type NVME M.2 like the Samsung 970 Evo.

Post back with any questions and please accept as solution if its the info you needed.
