I'm considering buying a docking station, hub or a USB-C monitor hub so that I can connect my HP Omen 15 to my work station with just one UCB-C cable instead of several cables. However, before I do that I want to understand if my laptop will support it, i.e. if it can charge and connect to my 24" monitor (1920x1080 @ 60Hz) with just the USB-C cable.

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c07582050
It has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port which does NOT support Power Delivery (PD) function therefore you can't use any USB-C charger to charge your machine.
FYI: I tested 120W USB-C charger on my HP Omen machine (with Thunderbolt™ 3 port and 200W AC adapter), it ONLY charges my machine when the machine off because 120W is too weak.
Regards.
