Product: HP Omen DC8400tx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am getting error like CMOS checksum expired,I found out that this is due to CMOS battery.

Does HP Omen DC8400tx has a CMOS battery?

Also my regular battery is also dead,is this causing the issue?

 

My date and time settings are also not working properly.

What is your machine ? I can't find HP Omen dc8400tx , only HP Omen 15-dc0084tx 

 

The HP Omen 15-dc0084tx does not have RTC or CMOS battery. You still need to keep battery inside.

Hi Banhein,

 

Thanks, it's HP Omen 15-dc0084tx .

So I need to replace the main battery I guess,as battery is dead alrready.

 

Can you please give me the battery name/model which will be suitable for HP Omen 15-dc0084tx.

I am not able to find one online.

HP official store also doesn't have battery for HP Omen 15-dc0084tx.
