I own a laptop HP Pavilion 15-bc009tx is installed with 128GB M.2 SATA. i wish to upgrade to at least 500GB. May I know does it support Samsung 970 EVO plus 500GB? What other model of Samsung's SSD with at least 500GB that it can support?

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.
According to the manual, your notebook's M.2 slot supports both SATA and NVMe SSD's.
May I suggest an alternative SSD?
The Samsung 980. It is newer and usually less expensive than the 970.
