Product: HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec0104AX
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop, 15-ec0104AX has 8 GB RAM and 512 GB NVMe SSD.

I have upgraded the RAM to 16 GB by adding a 8 GB RAM.

Now, I want to upgrade SSD too, and I wanted to know which SSD slot does this laptop have, NVMe or SATA?

 

I know it has one empty SATA slot but, I am asking this question because my laptop already have 512 GB NVMe SSD, can I add another NVMe SSD? I wanted to know if this laptop has 2 NVMe SSD slots?

Hi:

 

The notebook only has one M.2 slot for a NVMe SSD and that slot is currently occupied by the 512 GB NVMe SSD.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive configurations.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion Gaming 15 Laptop PC

 

If your notebook did not come with a 2.5" drive, there is a good chance that none of the parts are there to add a 2.5" drive, and you would have to buy the parts to add a 2.5" drive that are found in chapter 3.
