I tried charging HP Pavilion Laptop Model 7265NGW using USB-C, its not working. It is working for other laptop but not for this. I want to check whether the HP Pavilion laptop supports charging via USB-C port. Please help with answer.

According to chapter 2, page 11 of the service manual, the USB-C port only supports charging small devices.

 

It cannot be used to charge the notebook.

Thanks for response. Here, I am trying to charge my laptop with a powerbank using usb-c port of my laptop. I want to check if laptop accepts charging through usb-c port.

You're very welcome.

 

You cannot use a USB-C power adapter to charge your notebook.

 

You need a notebook with a USB-C Thunderbolt port for that.
