HP Laptop - 15-ef0023dx
Microsoft Windows 11

I recently purchased a Pugable USB-C Docking Station for my 4 monitor setup (not including the laptop) the SKU of the docking station is UD-3900c4. I have an HP Laptop 15-ef0023dx that is running Windows 11 Home. The setup should have been very simple but I am running into problems. The docking station is only picking up two of my four monitors (not including the laptop). This is now causing me to wonder does my HP Laptop support DP Alt Mode? From looking at the specs, it appears it should and from the videos I have viewed from pluggable, my laptop is compatible.

I do not see that in my research.

What you need  for that is a  USB type-C Thunderbolt port that also has the DP logo.

Your laptop does not have that.

My laptop does have this port.

That is not what I have seen in the user manual or the specifications.

The specifications at the support portal appear to be temporarily unavailable, but online specifications at other websites support what I found.

If you can take and provide a photo of the USB Type-C ports on your laptop showing the DP logo, I will be a believer.
