Hi Guys, As The Title Implies, Can I Use An eGPU On My HP Elitebook 840 G3, I Have Heard You Can Connect One Via USB But I Have Also Heard You Can Connect It To The 2nd Hardrive Port Via An Adapter

No. Your laptop has a USB-C port and it has a small lightning bolt next to it because it can charge your cell phone or other external device. But the only kind of port worth using to connect an eGPU is Thunderbolt 3 which you do not have. You need a super high bandwidth connection. USB, even USB-C data output just cannot carry enough information to "feed" a high end video card. Some older laptops with expressport connections will work with older type eGPUs but they are not good enough to use any current high end video card. Same with the wireless port. The hard drive port is not a place to connect an eGPU, either.

You just do not have the hardware needed to drive a current type of eGPU. Sorry.
