Here's the Manual:

Manual

Your laptop can accept either a SATA M.2 2280 or a PCIe/NVME M.2 2280.

The same two-chambered slot is used for either kind. As you have figured out, the PCIe/NVME tend to be two-prong/one notch and the SATA tend to be 3 prong/2 notch but they both fit in the same 2-chambered slot.

If you can give us the maker and model of the M.2 you have we can tell a bit more but if it is a SATA-3 2280 form factor it will almost certainly work for you.

Post back with any more questions but please accept as solution if this is the answer you needed.
