Product: HP ENVY - 13-aq0003na
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My laptop battery has failed. I can't find an exact match for the HP part number. My battery has L08544-1C2. I can find replacements but they are numbered L08544-1B1 or similar - the last three digits are different. Does this matter? In other respects the batteries seem to be identical.

I see that you wanted to know if the replacement battery should have the correct part number.

 

I suggest that you install the battery with the correct part number L08496-855.

 

You may also refer to page 35 of this User Manual.
