Hello, i know that my HP omen 15 has a second m.2 slot, and i was hoping to add a 1tb ssd for games (so that i can add more games whilst still using the laptop for uni), but i was wondering would this void the warranty currently on my laptop (i currently have around 7 months of warranty remaining)?

As long as you do not damage the notebook when installing it the warranty will remain valid.
If you ever need to send your Omen 15 notebook in for warranty repair while the warranty is valid, make sure you remove the second M.2 SSD.
If you fail to remove it, it will be removed and not reinstalled nor returned when the notebook is being repaired.
