HP ENVY Laptop 13-ba1000 (1F4E3AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Does an Envy 13 ba1000 have a TPM? It came with Windows 11 Home on it, but when I upgraded to Windows 11 Pro (which it allowed) and did a Windows Update, Windows no longer recognizes it. Did a factory reset of the TPM in the BIOS and still nothing.

Yes of course. It has Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0, firmware based. Not actual chip.

Regards.

That's what I thought, but when I upgraded to Windows 11 Pro (and clean installed Windows 10 Pro), it disappeared from Device Manager, and from TPM.MSC. Does Windows not support the firmware TPM?
