HP Pavilion Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I always like to know what is being loaded on my laptop.  When I looked up this on the Web it seemed to indicate that there might be issues with this update.  So I'm trying to find out more before I allow this to be put on my machine.

Hi:

Yes, that is an update to the W10 HP Wireless Button driver.

I'm asking because when I looked it up I found a post in October 2019 from a RacSoDna on this site that indicated that after installing this update, lots of things slowed down on his/her system.  That's why I was asking what it was.  I'm interested in knowing if the other post was a fluke or if others have had the same issue.

I would have no idea about that.

Different drivers can cause strange things to happen on different model notebooks.

That driver may work just fine on yours or it may not.
