Does hp 14q i3 8th gen contain 2 ram slots or if we have to upgrade ram then we have to remove older to install new one

In order to answer your question, please provide the product number of your notebook.

 

The product number can be found on the same label as the serial number.

 

Please do not post the serial number.

 

I have noticed on some of these very new models with the smaller display screens, there is only one memory slot, but most of the 8th gen core notebooks have two.

The model number you posted (14q-cs0006TU) is what I needed to know.

The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1 on page 2.

 

Since your notebook has an Intel core processor, there are two memory slots.
