Does my laptop (da1013ne) have an m.2 slot for ssd and does my laptop support Intel optane . And also can I upgrade my laptop by myself without nullifying the warranty .

Please reply after proper research.

( Also I went to crucial.com where they said that my laptop is compatible for m.2 pcle and sata 3 interface. Are both of them supported in one laptop).

@Stone6

Is it an  HP Notebook 15-da1013ne, its specs

Yes, from Crucial, it supports BOTH M.2 SATA and NVMe  SSD's that means it is suitable for Intel Optane BUT why you have to do that ? Using that slot for NVMe SSD is much, much better: you get more storage and very close to Intel Optane.

Better still, you can use new Intel NVMe product with Built-in Optane called H10:

So can I use the current hdd as the storage device and ssd for booting up the laptop? From the link you sent me it doesn't specify if I have an m.2 slot?

Will upgrading my laptop nullify the warranty?

Thanks.
