Does hp pavilion g6 notebook pc series have the same ribbon flex cable?

I'm planning to replace my ribbon flex cable due to screen flickering issues, just wanna ask if does it really matter to match the flex cable to your hp pavilion g6 model? aren't they all have the same ribbon flex cable compatibility?

Hi,

There are many g6 machines, they can be from g6-0000 to g6-9999 and they are grouped by series. Your question : "Does hp pavilion g6 notebook pc series have the same ribbon flex cable?". My first reply was NO because I did not know your machine.

Now, you can find cable for model G6-2238DX  and your machine is g6-2200ee therefore now I can say they are same series, most likely many their parts are compatible including the ribbon cable.

For your machine, you need Display cable kit (includes webcam/microphone module cable) part number 681808-001

You can buy from:

              http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=681808-001

or use part number to elsewhere such as Amazon, eBay ...

Regards.
