you can replace it with a solid state drive which would make a big improvement

Hi, @123Avenger 

 

Yes, your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD's and you can use it along with the 2.5" drive.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types.
