Is it an  HP Notebook 15-ac098tu ? Its specs

It has  Single hard drive configuration option and it does not have M.2 slot for M.2 SSD.  It ONLY has 2.5" HD/SSD storage. The following information also confirms that

 

    https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP---Compaq/hp-15-ac098tu

 

Ii does support 2.5" SSD and normal, standard 2.5" SSD will work or you can use Crucial MX500, BX500 or Samsung 860 EVO series. For example
