Product: OMEN by HP Laptop 17-an0xx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I need to know that if my laptop's USB C port is a thunderbolt port. 

I want to use Blackmagic Design's UltraStudio Mini Monitor Playback Device which requires Thunderbolt 3 port.

I've seen a thunderbolt software on my pc but still I'm not sure if it's Thunderbolt 3 port. 

MY PC : OMEN by HP Laptop 17-an0xx

What is your OMEN by HP Laptop 17-an0xx ? For example

 

         OMEN by HP - 17-an012dx

 

Your machine should have same ports of the above machine. It does not have a Thunderbolt™ 3 port.

Also, What is the use of Thunderbolt Software in the pc?
