HP Pavilion Notebook hp-bc404nw (5GV01EA)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a question, does anyone know if the bc-404nw laptop supports PCIE-Nvme cards

Currently, in the computer I have a SATA-3 HDD drive on the Sata connector and a second 240 gb drive on the M2 connector drive with the M2.SATA interface, key B + M

I would like to change the M2 disk to a larger one, I understand that another disk on the M2.SATA connector with a B + M 512 gb key will work, but it will reach a speed of 600MB / s

I checked and the connector also physically supports the M key
will my system detect the nvme fast disk ?

in the Maintenance and Service Guide I found out that It do not support Nvme, but in the forum post https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/HP-Pavilion-15-bc404nw-M2 -slo...
I found out that it supports PcI-Nvme

Please help

Thanks

@Shiba07

Information from Crucial shows it supports M.2 NVMe SSD drive

                https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/pavilion-15-bc404nw

You should be able to use M.2 NVMe SSD on your machine.

Regards.
