hi, I just want to clear that does my laptop have m.2 ssd slot (img of laptop) and if yes will it support sata m.2 ssd coz I'm not sure will it work or not and is it just better to use caddy with ssd ?

If it supports m.2 should I go directly for it?

A larger image showing more of the section where the M.2 slot is would have helped.

Your laptop supports one  M.2 SATA-3 SSD.

There is one slot for the SSD and it was even labelled in the image.
If there is another, it is for an M.2 WLAN module.

So should I go with m.2 sata ssd. Coz I'm not sure will it work or not? Else I'll go with caddy.

gain, how about making a larger photo than the ones you provided.

Both images are too small in scale, so the rest of the area by the SSD slot is not visible.

That appears to be an M.2 slot, but there is no hold down screw to its right. An SSD would just hang in there so its probably not worth trying it, unless you just happen to have already an M.2 SATA SSD to try it with.

I don't make recommendations to members to spend money on an upgrade that may not work or are not safe.

In this case, I would tend to go with the 2.5-inch internal SSD • SATA 6.0Gb/s and 9.5mm adapter option.
