I want to know if my hp laptop has an m2 slot or no ?  I want to insert an ssd in it. My Hp laptop model is Hp pavilion 15 p003tx.

If it has what’s the maximum storage of ssd it can take.

Yes. 9.5mm thickness.

 

You should replace the hard drive in your PC with SSD and use the caddy for the old drive. Reinstall the OS on the SSD.

Hi,

The notebook does not have an M2 slot for an SSD. What you can do is replace the mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD such as the Samsiung 860evo or similar. You can get high capacity such as 2TB or even more.

On page 105 of service manual you can see how to replace the drive. You can use migration software to migrate an image of the hard drive to the SSD.
