I would like to upgrade my laptop SSD. I haven't installed any SSD before in my device. I would like to know whether my laptop , HP 15 - da0326tu , supports PCIe NVMe SSD? If no then what kind of SSD should I look for? It will be really helpful if I get a reply as soon as possible.

Hi:
Your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports both NVMe and SATA SSD's.
See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types:

When I searched online , some people who installed NVMe SSD says that it is not working in this particular model. It's so confusing.
If it is compatible with NVMe , which SSD should I look for ? If SATA , then which one should I buy?
Thank-you

I can only go by what the service manual indicates.
If the notebook has an Intel core processor, it has a M.2 slot that supports both NVMe and SATA SSD's.
The only info I have is that the NVMe SSD's run at half their advertised speeds because the slot is PCIe 3 x 2 instead of 3 x 4.
I recommend this drive for NVMe:
I recommend this drive for SATA:

One more thing I would like to know is if we are purchasing SATA , is it SATA 3 that we should look for ? Because when I look to purchase there is 2 types - SATA and SATA 3 . Which of these is suitable for my device ?
