Basically I bought this PC 4 months ago and am starting to get into light gaming. I was concerned that my CPU might overheat as the game I want to play is pretty taxing on CPUs. So that led me to checking my fan speed. Only to find nothing. I checked in speedfan, HWMonitor, and the Bios and found nothing at all about any fans. This seems peculiar to me as I'm sure that I've heard a fan in my computer before, but I can't find any software evidence of one. My computer model is above and I bought it at: https://www.amazon.com/HP-Performance-Touchscreen-Quad-Core-Bluetooth/dp/B077RT843F/ref=sr_1_34?keyw....
Can anyone please tell me if my computer has a fan or not? And if not is there any way to manually install one?

Many HP laptops with less wattage CPU's don't have fans but your machine has Core i5-8250U with 15W therefore it must have fan(s).
But it can be clocked down to generate less heat. I need to know what EXACTLY is your machine to be able to have full answer. Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

Hi:
According to the service manual it does...see chapter 3, page 19, item #12.

The only BIOS setting you may find regarding the fan is the enable/disable 'Fan always on when on A/C power' setting.
Models with Pentium or Celeron processors do not have fans.

You're very welcome.
There would be no way you could speed up the fan if none of the utlities you tried worked.
Fan speed is controlled automatically based on the load placed on the processor and/or graphics adapter.
