HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-d5000 (4V9Y1AV)

Hi! As the title states, I would like to ask if my laptop has the option to limit battery charge so that I could prolong the battery? I recently got the laptop and I'd be grateful for an answer!

Hi:

Your notebook does not have that feature.

Only some expensive HP business class notebooks currently have that feature.

Check your notebook's BIOS to see if it has the battery optimizer setting.

That would be a setting to help get the most life out of your notebook's battery.

Just don't leave the notebook plugged in 24/7/365 with the battery in a constant 100% charge state, and you should be fine.

This link has some useful information regarding the battery.
