HP 250 G5 Laptop

I am trying to buy a cable lock for my laptop and there seem to be a few choices yet I am unsure which type to buy that will fit. It is a horizontal rectangle on the side of my laptop so what kind of cable lock can I use?

HP makes its own locks.

I believe, however, these are compliant with the "industry standard" lock slot which is most commonly called a "Kensington" slot or "K" slot.

Thanks, I was looking at ordering one online but a few people were saying it doesnt work on HP. Then I read that most laptops manufactured since 2010 or something are all able to use the kensington locks so it made me question this.
