@redarkxv3

It is an HP Notebook - 17-by1033dx, its specs:

            https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06254884

It has

  • 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA
  • 128 GB M.2 SSD       (which is a SATA drive)

Please use M.2 SATA SSD to upgrade.

Regards.

Hi, @redarkxv3

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that your notebook, since it has an Intel 8th gen core processor, supports NVMe drives as well as SATA.

So, I don't know why the NVMe drive you installed is not showing up in the BIOS.

Perhaps the manual is incorrect.
