Greetings! I have a ryzen 5 3500U laptop with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM installed, I am looking to expand it to 16 GB, but I wanted to know if my motherboard supports dual channel memory or not.

What is your machine ? Nearly all of them support dual channels RAM. But to be sure, we need to know what is your machine ? You can use System Info to find out its SKU. For example

On page 1, it clearly says : DDR4-2400 dual channel support (DDR4-3200 bridge to 2666, DDR4-2666 downgrade to DDR4-2400).
It has 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) now, you can simply add SAME existing 8GB to slot 2 to have 16GB. Pahe 29 of the manual shows you how.
