If it has an optical drive it can support an optical drive hdd caddy and you could put any 2.5 inch SATA SSD in there. However, it will not be bootable and the interface is slower than the main SATA interface so it is really a waste of money to put an SSD in there. Do you already have an SSD or are you thinking of this as a way to make your laptop run on an SSD?
It will not work to give your laptop the running speed of an SSD. It can only be a storage drive so I actually recommend getting a large slow HDD to put in there like a 2 TB 5400 rpm. You can run videos and music from it but it is not good for stuff like video editing that benefits from fast input/output speed.
