Product: Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 (599K0AV)

Currently my laptop works in DDR4 ram. I just want to know whether my laptop supports DDR5 ram. Or is there any way to find out by myself. Please let me know. Thank you

Your notebook supports DDR4 memory only.

 

DDR5 memory runs at a lower voltage, has a different number of contact pins and the slot in the DDR5 memory circuit board is cut in a different place than it is in a DDR4 memory board, making it physically impossible for someone to install a DDR5 memory chip in a DDR4 memory slot.
