I want to add M.2 ssd to my laptop, does it support?

On page 66 of service manual you can see where the M2 SATA3 drive is installed in certain models. It is in the place where you have Hard Drive.

Now you could remove the 2.5"  hard drive, buy the M2 SSD bracket (part number 850946-001) and then install an M2 SATA3 drive such as the M2 Samsung 860 Evo.

However, replacing the 2.5" hard drive with a 2.5" SSD is cheaper and will have the same speed.

Hi,

It does not have an M2 slot for SSD.

Your only option is to replace the 2.5" HDD with a 2.5" SSD such as the Samsung 860 Evo or similar.

On page 60 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive:

The manual u have sent also mentions steps to install m.2 ssd.. I am confused?

In description also it says M.2 ssd supported?

It has 6th gen i3 processor{6006u}
