Does my laptop [ HP 8th Gen Intel Core i5 Processor 15.6-inch FHD Laptop: 15q-ds1001TU ] support: SSD with 4.0 technology.

Particularly this model: Kingston NV2 SNV2S/1000G PCI-Express 4.0 1 TB M.2 SS or NV2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD

No, it supports PCIe 3. You can ins tall PCIe 4 but it won't run PCIe G4 speed
