Hi:
Yes, your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD's.
See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types:
Solid-state drive:
For use only on computer models with model number 15-cc1xx
● 512-GB, 2280, Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe), Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe)
solid-state drive
● 256-GB, 2280, PCIe, NVMe solid-state drive

Just one more thing, I was thinking about RAM upgrade as well. In that case, do I need to install the exact same Kingston 8gb ram or If I can install a 8 gb ram having the same frequency of another brand as well?

Yes, you may as well, since you have to take the notebook apart.
You can use any brand memory that is compatible with your notebook.
While it would be nice to get the same Kingston part number HP installed, that is not always possible.
Your notebook probably has a DDR4-2400 memory chip installed.
If that is the case, this would be a compatible memory chip for your notebook:

You're very welcome.
The 15-ay543tu does not have a M.2 slot for a SSD.
Only the 15-ay### notebooks that came with a SATA M.2 SSD from the factory have a M.2 slot.
If you want to upgrade to a SSD, you will need to replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.
Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the SSD removal and replacement procedure.
