I want to add a m.2 ssd to my laptop. So I want to know whether my laptop has the m.2 slot and can support m.2 ssd. If it supports does it support mSATA ssd or a PCie ssd.

Yes, I see. However, if you look on page 66 you can see that the M2 bracket is placed where the 2.5" drive is. So you would need to purchase the bracket and then install a M2 SATA3 SSD. So it is cheaper and easier (with same performance) just to replace the hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.

Hi,

Your PC does not have an extra M2 slot, so no support for M2 SSD. You can replace the 2.5" Hard Drive with a 2.5" SSD such as the Samsung 860 Evo or similar which would give a performance boost to the notebook.

But in page no 65 of the manual, it mentions about m.2 ssd in the pc. Please clarify.
