Does my motherboard support UEFI?

I just upgraded my HP Compaq 15 s103tu from factory installed windows 8.1 with Bing to Windows 10 home. Windows is installed on Bios legacy and hard drive is having MBR partitions. Now I want to upgrade it to GPT partition and UEFI. Does my motherboard which is HP 2211 support UEFI.

BIOS setup shows option like legacy/UEFI boot and UEFI boot orders.

One more thing, would it be safe to use MBR2GPT to convert without having a data loss.

Hi:

Yes, your notebook supports UEFI, but I can't answer your question regarding converting from MBR to GPT.

When I have wanted to go from a Legacy BIOS installation of Windows with MBR, I just clean install Windows in EFI mode by booting from EFI device.  Then I reinstall my programs and files.

If I run into a situation where I get the notice that I am trying to install Windows in GPT on a MBR disk, then I just use diskpart to clean the disk and continue on with the installation.

If you are asked to enter a product key during the Windows Installation process, select the 'I don't have a product key' option.

Although I tried and yeah it worked.

System running on UEFI with partitions to GPT.
