I am planning on replacing my laptop battery, and I was wondering when I remove it then replace it, will my laptop reset to factory settings?

Hi:

 

Replacing the battery will not reset the PC to its factory settings.

 

If your notebook has an internal battery and there is no CMOS battery, only the BIOS settings would reset to their defaults.
