I currently have the HP Spectre x360 13-4103dx with the Scandisk SD7SN6S-256G-1006. The specs show this as a X300 256GB M.2 2280 SATA 3 6.0 Gb/s SSD. Looking at Crucial's website, they guarantee that even though I have SATA 3 now, the NVMe version will work as well. Can anyone verify cross compatability? If so, it is almost three times faster in read / write speeds tu use the NVMe version.

Yes, from manual (page 2), both 40xx and 41xx series support M.2 2280 SATA 3 and NVMe SSD's

Thank you for the help.
This leads to another question, Crucial states that 1 TB is compatible usable, but the manual you referenced only shows support stopping at 512 GB. Will the Spectre surpass the 512 GB barrier?
