My SSD has 256 gb of storage I wanted to know if I can expand it or do I have to buy a new SSD and transfer my stuff there

Hi:

It only has one M.2 slot for a SSD, which is currently being used by the one you have now.

 

There is an option to add a 2.5" drive, but it would be very difficult to do so, since you would have to order the parts to add one.

 

It would be much easier to replace the 256 GB NVMe SSS with one having a larger storage capacity.

 

I recommend either the Samsung 980 (not 980 Pro) 1 TB or the Western Digital Blue SN570 1 TB NVMe SSD.
