Product: HP 14 14" Chromebook 14-ca010nr
Operating System: Chrome OS

Want to make sure I get the correct USB to HDMI adapter for my granddaughter's HP Chromebook.  Some of t he products that are better rated say the USB-C 3.1 must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode and I can't find this in any of the specs on HP or the Target site where we bought it. Any help will be appreciated.

Specs on the USB-C port say it can be used to charge the laptop and puts out power to charge a cell phone. If it has Alt-DP it would say so, one would think. It seems odd that there is no native HDMI port on the Chromebook as those are pretty common. 

I would predict a simple USB-C to HDMI dongle is not going to work.
