Hi:

 

The product specs for your notebook indicate that it came with DDR3L-1600 memory.

 

HP Pavilion Notebook 15-ab019na (Touch) Product Specifications | HP® Support

 

DDR4 memory is not supported because:

 

It runs at a lower voltage than DDR3L memory.

 

It has a different number of contact pins than DDR3L memory

 

The slot in the DDR4 memory board is cut in a different place than it is on a DDR3L memory board, making it physically impossible for the DDR4 memory chip to fit in a DDR3L memory slot.
